Understanding the Dashboard

The Solido dashboard is the first screen you see when you log in. It provides a real-time snapshot of your accounts receivable, giving you immediate visibility into how your business is tracking on collections. Everything on the dashboard updates automatically as invoices sync from Xero and as reminder emails are sent.

Key Metrics

At the top of the dashboard you will find three headline metrics that summarise the health of your receivables:

  • DSO (Days Sales Outstanding): Also known as the average collection period, this metric tells you how many days it takes on average to collect payment after an invoice is issued. A lower DSO means you are collecting faster. Tracking DSO over time helps you measure whether your reminder strategy is improving your cash flow.
  • Total Unpaid: The combined value of all outstanding invoices across all customers. This includes invoices that are not yet due as well as those that are overdue. It gives you a clear picture of how much money is currently owed to your business.
  • Total Overdue: The combined value of invoices that have passed their due date and remain unpaid. This is the subset of your total unpaid that requires the most attention. A high overdue figure relative to your total unpaid suggests that collections need to be accelerated.

Monthly Invoice Activity

Below the headline metrics, the dashboard displays a breakdown of invoice activity on a monthly basis. This section shows you how many invoices were issued, how many were paid, and how many remain unpaid for each month. Use this view to identify trends. For example, if unpaid invoices are consistently rising month over month, it may be time to revisit your reminder rules or escalation timing.

Upcoming Scheduled Emails

The dashboard also shows a list of upcoming scheduled emails. These are reminder emails that Solido has generated and queued for delivery based on your reminder rules. Each entry shows the customer name, invoice reference, scheduled send date, and the assigned mailbox. This section helps you stay ahead of what is going out next so there are no surprises. If you spot an email you want to review or cancel before it sends, you can click through to the Emails page for full control.

Email Previews

From the dashboard you can preview the content of upcoming emails without navigating away. Hover over or click on a scheduled email entry to see the full email body, subject line, and recipient list. This is a quick way to verify that your AI-generated emails look correct and are addressed to the right people before they are delivered.

Using the Dashboard Effectively

The dashboard works best as a daily check-in tool. Start each day by reviewing your DSO trend, scanning total overdue for any unexpected increases, and checking the upcoming emails list to confirm everything looks right. Over time, you should see your DSO decrease and your overdue totals shrink as Solido consistently follows up with your customers on your behalf.
